14" Eşsiz Hi-Hats
Part of the signature Eşsiz line, designed by Corey Foster, this 14” hi-hat pair is dry, low-pitched, and at a perfect medium-thin weight, making them incredibly versatile.
The top cymbal has the signature Eşsiz hybrid lathing design: Partial lathing (raw-gold lathing) from the center of the cymbal to just above the shoulder (in order to control high frequencies, and to provide a slightly thicker area of the shoulder to provide greater stick articulation), and wide and shallow lathing from the shoulder to the edge. There is a slight taper toward the edge of the cymbal. Playing on the fully lathed portion of the shoulder area will produce a beautiful sweet hi-hat tone, while playing on the partially lathed portion of the shoulder will produce a noticeably stronger stick articulation and a drier sustain.
The bottom cymbal has the lathing style of the Medium Thin Dry and Staccato rides. This dry and significantly heavier bottom cymbal helps to create an overall dry sustain, and great “chick” sound when played with the foot.
Ideal for all genres, especially modern jazz, funk, soul, and world genres.
